if you have a drill try to drill a hole downward in the trunk, the thicker the drill bit the better.then pour some strong bleach in the hole. domestos would be the best, or screen if you can find some. best of luck, it worked for me

Weedol is an amateur product so will require more than one application.

Diesel will contaminate the soil and is a very bad idea. Nothing should be grown in the soil which can be eaten by anyone or anything.

Professional trans-located herbicide is the best option with an active ingredient called glyphosate. If you use this use a a wetting agent also (a good retailer should recommend one) it will make the leaves take the chemical better.

Stump grinder or digging will only work if you get all of the root which is unlikely.

These are call 'suckers' from the main tree and very difficult to get rid of. The best thing to do is get a machine that will dig up all the roots and surrounding ground. Fill the hole with some topsoil and you'll be ready to plant something else in the spot. Don't put roundup or anything like that in that spot, or you will have trouble growing anything there.

Use Roundup on the leaves. Nothing can survive roundup. It is used by Farmers to clear set-aside fields that are overgrown with everything including tree saplings. Take care to follow instructions because it will kill all the other plants unless they are protected. It works on the leaves and travels down through the stems to kill the roots, so even a couple of leaves sprayed with this will kill the plant. You will have to dig out the stump.

sounds like some sort of hedge apple tree. Theyre a pain in the asss. You have to actually bring in a stump eater and completely destroy the stump and root system. Pulling it out with a tractor or truck would really help too.

This sounds like a Lycium ferocissimum, also called the African Boxthorn. There are several variants and they grow in many places in the US. I suggest you check this government website (which is free and non-commercial) which gives information about many noxious plants. Once you have identified your plant you can then find out exactly what to do to get rid of it. (The link below is for the plant I've mentioned.)

Good luck!

Have you tried Roundup? Not the kind you buy in Wal-mart (too watered down), but commercial grade. By following the directions carefully, it should kill the shoots.

Take a cutting to a garden centre, Someone there should be able to identify it and advise how to get rid of it.
