and keeps prying into your personal life........I work with this woman I barely even know but she, came out of no where one day asking a bunch of bull**** questions about me, my life and my family. Then she would give nothing but jealuos responeses. She wasnt asking to be nice she was doing it in more of a snobbish, jealous kind of way. I personaly think she has something against me. No body really gets along with her at work. My question is why would someone go out of their way to be soooo rude, and jealous of me??? How do you put up with someone who is a total *****??

I just ignore them. People like that like friction, they wanna get under everyone's nails. If you don't give them any feedback, they lose interest and move on the next poor sap who's willing to talk to them. I've learned the hard way not to share personal info at work and haven't since. Now I sit back and watch all the other idiots gossip and harass and make they're own work lives miserable. So what!! Let them kill each other over stupid stuff but don't get sucked into it yourself! That's for the weak minded!

Offer her whatever information you feel comfortable sharing. If it's too personal, simply say, "I like to keep personal talk separate from business," or something like that. It's not rude. Just say it in a matter-of fact way. It's hard to deal with someone like that. Be polite, professional, but firm about your boundaries. Don't worry about her judgments, she's probably judgmental of herself and insecure.

She is just a jealous "busybody" who thinks that the life is better than anyone elses and needs something to make comparisons to.
She is a "Toxic" person.
She should be fired.

sound to me she is a real pill ready to crushed. could be she might be just jealous that you can get along with others. or her work ethics need to be upgraded. maybe you or the others can talk to her boss? how about turning the tables and start asking her personal questions.

Answer her questions with questions and don't stop. It's way annoying.
But here's a novel approach: Why not simply tell her you find her prying to be inappropriate and harassing? If it persists, alert your supervisor.

Nicely tell her you don't talk about your personal life at work. Work is for work. The lady has "issues". I wouldn't play into her game. Don't stoop down to her level and treat her the same. Just ignore it.

The next time she asks a question just look her straight in the eye and tell her "Hey Biitch why don't you just fuuck off" That will get her to leave you alone

When she asks you a question, ask her one right back instead of answering her. "where did you go to school?" where did you? that kind of thing. If she doesn't stop, respond to her next question by saying "I can't imagine why that would be of any interest to you" and repeat as often as necessary.

If that's the way you feel she is actually being, why not just tell her that you are there to work and support your family, that you are not there to socialize.

Well, you don't want to be a total ***** back to her, but avoid the casual conversation with her... explain that you "have to finish this report" or "I have to make a call"..... if you do it with a smile, she'll get the picture.... You almost have to be rude, but no sense getting into a confrontation about it.... unless she persists, then talk to your boss about it.
