If the keyboard is completely inoperative, try calling Dell support at 1-888-560-8324. If you can use the keyboard, you can try going to the Dell online support site: http://support.dell.com/

You can download the newest drivers, do a system scan, etc. for free.

use another keyboard, a usb type, plug it in and just use that
