"When you are dealing with cat urine or any urine for that matter. The 3 major parts of urine is urea- which the sticky tacky part, the urochrome- which is the pigment or color part and the uric acid cyrstals and salts. Alot of products will work on the 1st two parts listed above which removes the stain and odor, the odor part is not gone the cyrstals just dry and become dormat, Isn't interesting that when it rains, or gets humid the ordor comes back or the carpet gets wet from steam cleaning or more urine from a pet the odor comes back, it always comes back.... It takes an very special product to get rid of urine competely, look at the following site www.urine-off.com this company makes bacteria and enzymes to eat Fats, Oils, Grease, strach, and Sugar. They spent alot of time feeding very specfic bacteria all the components of urine until they had a product that eat it all the way to Black Light Clean- that means that all the residue of the urine is gone.. Give them a try they truly have something very good. Good Luck with the Cat Pee"

Your best bet is to go to a local veterinary clinic and ask for urine odor and stain remover. These products are specifically designed to remove pet odors. Also, are your cats spayed or neutered? They may be marking their territory if they are not. If they are already spayed or neutered, the urinating out of the litter box could indicate a health problem, such as a UTI or urine crystals.

is it cat pee or cat spray. there is a differance. cat spray is an oil similar to skunk spray. it is an oil and premeates whatever pourous object it contacts and should be treated as an oil based stain. in doing carpet repairs i have found that of all odors to try and get rid of the smell of a cat is the hardest. you muight have to replace your couch

This is for the carpet.. but it should also help...
There are plenty of stains that happen to land onto your carpet each and every day. You may notice them, or they may slip past you. One thing is for sure. Having stains of any type of your carpet can cause you to have less value in your home and will require that you invest in new carpeting more frequently than you should need to. Yet, if you know a few methods to removing carpet stains, you may just find that this is no longer the case. Carpet stain removal can happen if you take some time to learn how to do it more effectively.
To help you, we have several areas listed here that may be what you need. Various stains on carpeting require various types of chemicals or cleaning methods. Knowing which bottle to grab or how to react to the stain will help you to get rid of it faster and more thoroughly.
Food Stains
The most common type of stain to land onto your carpeting is going to be that of food. But, each type of food may have a different method that needs to be used to clean it up. So, to break it down some, take a look at these methods for cleaning up the most popular food stains for in anyone’s home.
Coffee, Juice and Wine Stains:
These are some of the most common types of stains. To get rid of them, use a clean terry cloth or white paper towels to blot up all of the excess liquid that you have. Do not scrub. Next, apply club soda to the area. Then, after a few seconds of sitting, you will want to again blot out the stain with clean, dry paper towels. Next, do the same thing but with clean water to rinse the area. Finally, if these things do not work to remove the stain, apply hydrogen peroxide to the area and let it sit. Blot off any excess liquid there.
Chocolate or Ice Cream:
Yes, these wind up on your floor too. To remove them, mix one teaspoon of dishwashing liquid with one cup of water. Apply to a clean terry cloth and then to the area. Blot as much as possible with dry, clean paper towels or terry cloths. Repeat this process until all of the stain has been successfully removed.
Grease or Oily Stains:
These are some of the worst stains to clean up. But, you can do it. Apply a non oily, non caustic dry cleaning solvent to the area. Use only a small amount. You should check to make sure that this product will not stain the carpet itself by testing it in a hidden area first. Rinse the area with warm water and blot it dry.
sorry of it's kinda long... But, it should answer all or most of your carpet stains!!
gud luck!!

the least puzzling eternal selection I even have is the Austin Air puppy gadget. somewhat costly whether in case you desire to thoroughly look after your cat and thoroughly have the heady scent long long previous then I’d advise it truthfully. No problem how puzzling i attempted to scrub out the carpets or the couches or perhaps the partitions the heady scent would desire to continuously come again. apparently its in basic terms a lingering heady scent interior the air, so with the domestic dog laptop now I don’t would desire to waste my time each and each and a week scrubbing for hours. desire it relatively is assisting! -Randall

I had a carpet store recommend Nature's Miracle. It worked for me. But you have to really saturate the area, so if this is on a cushion, you may have to replace the inside cushion and dry clean or wash the cover.
