you and the first guy have an unhealthy relationship. if he would take his life for you that is messed up. and if you hurt him six times and comes back like a puppy dog - that is also messed up. and you say he is overprotective? is he really abusive?? has he ever hit you - or does he just make you feel bad about yourself? if the other guy is nice and treats you well go with him. get rid of the first one - that just sounds like a 'burning bed' waiting to happen!

Young lady, It sounds as if you need to quit worrying about guys at this stage in your life, and concern yourself more with school. IE, English would be a good subject to focus on.
I am serious, first develop yourself intellectually, and in about 10 years you will be able to answer these type of questions yourself. You will meet many guys through your young years, many will have the same story for you, its tried and true for making you see stars. Don't fall for it , take care of YOU first and learn to stand on your own.

I am going threw the same kind of thing right now it really sucks. I am making a list of quality's I like in each one and the one with more things I like is the guy I am picking I can't think of any other way to do it. Good luck.

You sound very confused. You also sound like you are stringing this guy along. Break up with him and think about what you want to do. Tell him you need some space. You've hurt this guy 6 times......he sounds like he is obsessed with you or has a really bad self image. Move on.

if you don't have feeling for you ex. then you should give this new guy a chance. but u are right what if this guy just likes you for some reason. and there is a guy that loves you. you need to do some searching and see who to really be with.

If you don't care for him, leave him alone to get on with his own life he will get over you and find someone else, it is better to cut with a sharp knife, if you have hurt him that many then you don't care for him, sounds like you are just hanging on for his feeling don't do that, the longer he hangs on the worse it will be in the end.

Usually I would say let your head guide your heart, but just for this situation i would say let your heart guide your head. by that i mean be with the guy u love, and try your best to be buddys with your ex. if u want u can hook ur ex up with one of ur friends
