I dunno - I became a cop.

I'm more observant, vigilant..I get a little annoyed when a plane flies too low.

I look for exit signs when entering a new place.just to know where they are.
I don't like unattended bags, boxes, big trucks..
I pray more. I cherish my loved ones more. I have a stronger sense of patriotism..even more so than when I served in the us army..

you?

It made me aware of how people would think of Muslims, and it also made me grow closer to my religion, which is none other than Islam. I m not saying that I was glad about that 9/11 thing. I mean WHO would be?. It really saddened me, to see those innocent civilians in the other countries being killed. From that I was more conservative than I was before with food, money, etc. Two or three yrs later, I decided to check out how the politics work ( i curious about it after the 9/11 stuff). From that, I realized, that lots of things were politics oriented, and it just got on my nerves ( you know all that dirty power struggle they do in politics). From there, I had this hatred and some sort of repulsion for politics and I still do.

This was how 9/11 affected me.

I am more conscious than ever before of our government and what it does and says since 911. But on another page, 911 has caused me to pay more attention to people I see in airports, malls, other shopping areas, and even parking lots.

On the flip side, I pay less and less attention to the "terror levels" we see every day on cable news outlets

I'm tired of the word "diligent" (Oxford Dict. definition: "put care and effort in what one does," which is no more than some rather cutesy word for "work real hard so you won't have TIME to be scared."

I think a lot.

I no longer use any "cruel humor" of any kind. I don't want to be like the terrorists, and they were cruel.

It made me take Osama Bin Laden more seriously. I used to laugh when they threatened us.

9/11 made me realize a lot of people want to see American's dead.

It has made me more grateful for my family, friends and neighbors. That we are all brothers and sisters, children of God, and should take care of one another.
