That is so sad! You are already someone. I am not the greatest looking woman in the world and at 47 I have spent most of my life telling myself a lot of the same things you are telling yourself now. But they are lies. The truth is that those things may not happen in your life but it is because of your self image and self esteem not because of your appearance. The society we live is so full images of "perfect" looking people. But look at their real lives, alcoholism, drug abuse, spousal abuse and divorce. It is not about what we look like but how authentic we are. It is true that so often romance depends on appearance and youth. It may just be me but I beleive women are more accepting of men's appearance than men are of women. You are lying to yourself.

There are many people like you, don't be so general. Maybe you should try finding something you truly enjoy, and making it your hobby. I get joy out of my drawing, and playing video games. now that you are past the stage of learning the basics about how to live, you do not necessarily need people to make you happy. A sunrise can make someone very happy, a cup of coffee, working with animals, or just being around them.

You will never do the things you say you can not. You are simply having self-fulfilling prophecies. Stop playing the victim and take charge of your life. If you want happiness you have to go out and get it, no one will give it to you. There is no Santa Clause keeping track of right and wrong. So stop sulking and grab the bull by the horns. What have you got to lose?

Stop looking for someone to feel sorry for you and you might happen upon those thing you seem to find so important to you in life. If you continue to think that way about your self eventually everyone else will too. Looking good isn't everything.

Lots of ugly people fall in love, get married and have kids. Otherwise you'd see only beautiful people walking around.

If you think you are ugly and gross then other people will too. Perk up, it's what is inside that counts. If you have confidence in yourself so will other people.

It's not your appearance that's keeping you from these things. It's your attitude. Stop kicking yourself. If YOU don't like yourself,or have confidence in your abilities, then how do you expect others to.
