Warcraf is about the best mmorpg out there on the market. It offers about anything you could want out of a mmorpg, mounts, pets, auction system, casual and hard core content, pvp with rewards, raiding, dressing room to preview gear, many classes to chose from, no xp loss, flight paths all over the maps ect ect.
I have two 60's a Druid and Warlock and many alts, but I've played since Dec of 04. Some people do think it's a lot of time spent to get far in warcraft but it's up to the player to make choice to play or not to play massive amounts of time. As with any game time= more lvls better gear ect. Thats just how it goes.
I really love WoW but I've been playing other games lately untill the expansion comes out with some new content. I only raid about once a week as that can sometimes last 5+ hours and I'm not having fun spending time raiding all the time.
Raiding is a time hog, and I do know people who raid and it comsumes most of their time... But thats the players choice to do that or not. Not something I am interested in doing.
Compaired to other games it offers a lot more but it's not the only game out there thats fun. It's worth playing. I've enjoied my time playing I'd say getting epic items is rewarding but not the best experience, theres a lot of rewarding things to this game. Getting your lvl 40 mount, hitting lvl 60, getting pvp ranks and rewards ect.
All in all it can be a blast to play~

If you try to get someone to buy Warcraft, consider yourself a drug dealer. I have 2 friends who used to be normal people until they played it. Now we can't get them to hang out with us, because they are locked in thier house playing that game all day. If you say anything bad about Warcraft around them, they get really defensive and take what you say about the game as a personal attack.

my char is a lvl 45 warrior. but he sux lol. I have a friend who has a warlock"lvl 60" Who can kick *** anywhere. I was a telemarketer once, so if your trying to sell the game to somebody just give em all the benefits of the game. and for every 1 reluctance they give you, give them back 2 more great qualities of the game" perhaps something like You could start at one end of the lvl and try to run to the other side of the world and it would take you like 20 hours!!!!!!!!

yes I play. I have a 43 Hunter. The best way to sell it is tell them to go to the web site and try it free for 14 days. If they like it it sales itself.
