No one signed Sosa because he was "insulted" that the few teams that were willing to gamble money by offering him a contract didn't offer a superstar (i.e. over $10 million per year) contract. No team is desperate enough to meet his ego's demands especially when he is a past-his-prime prima donna.

Because he is a worthless, hurricane relief fun fraud, cork bat hitter, steriod taking, washed up body cuz he cant take steriods anymore, all of a sudden cant understand English in a courtroom, no-class player who gives the shaft to fans who have supported him for years by leaving the park before the game is finished, moron. Would you sign him?

He's getting older and has had some injuries. He was offered a contract with the Nationals (a minor league team) and he turned them down.

Because he'd fail the first drug test back. That is like going into the first day of school and not even knowing how to spell your name. The guy used steroids.

because he is an old, incredibly bad bitter player who is gimpy and wants millions to hit .221 with 14 HRs in 102 games before he shuts down cuz of injuries. no one wants him, cuz he sucks now that he isn't juicing anymore, and his act has gotten really old. why on earth would you sign a locker room cancer like that?

Did you see him play last year? he looked like his career was over and now it is. He has said he still wants to play but his performance last year will most likely keep him from making a comeback.
