I am on my second marriage. I thought i was rid of this jealousy at one time, but it turned out i just didn't care anymore. Now I care for someone new and I find my self jealous again. I hate the idea of a "HOTTIE" walking in and my husbands, uncles interupt me in the middle of a sentence just to point out t my husband that their is a "HOTTIE" and everyone stops what their doing to check her out. The truly beautiful women don't bother me, I can honestly appreciate TRUE beauty, its the one that have the slut factor that always seem to grab everyones attention. Personally, I think that when men do that, they are disrespecting me and their wives. Their wives don't seem to be bothered. Why am I bothered?

I know what you mean, people suck like that, but maybe you can sit down and talk to your husband about it bothering you and how it makes you feel when that happeneds, also remember that when people don't have very much excitment in there lives, they have to point out every little detail about something that seems exciting or unusual, (yes beauty can be unusual to people). Also You might be around some disrespectful, shallow men who just don't care.
Their wives aren't bothered by it because they are use to it and they have already settled for a life of constant shallowness and disrespect from men.

I'd be bothered by it. Have you had a conversation with your husband about it?

However, there will always be plenty of people in the world that each person finds attractive, not just one. The truly important thing comes from making a committment to just one of those people.

If you want to stop being jealous, then stop being jealous. Change your thoughts whenever those jealous thought processes start.

you dont have to be bothered and feel disrespected, its nothing much when a man turn his head on the other way and throw a compliment on somebody else. It's something you should not take against him seriously, you're the only ones who's hurting yourself, feeling less and insecure. you're married with him and so it means there's no one else above you. all you need is keep your cool.

It is normal to be jealous when one loves someone. Perhaps you are insecure.
