Around 30% depending on the poll. One of respondents noted that the exit polls had Kerry winning in 2004; the problem here is that traditionally exit polls are extremely accurate versus the "regular" polls that we see during the average news cycle. According to the Federal Elections Commission, blacks, poor whites and Latinos are 900% more likely to have their votes not counted for one reason or another. This explains the difference, all kinds on processes are put in place to dampen the effect of poor voters on the election outcome. So unless the candidate has an massive lead in the polls he won't be able to overcome the built in prejudice in the electoral system. What this really means is unless the Democrats come up with a platform that is actually popular they stand no chance of unseating Republicans. Admittedly the Republicans are screwing up on a daily basis but it's not really translating into an up swell of support for the Dem's.

obama ought to win, this race is the dems to lose. yet between the failings protecting mccain interior the race is the 8 plus million who say they're going to the two vote for mccain or stay abode. some thing has them irritating or in touch approximately obama. hardly does a political occasion win 3 consecutive words. maximum polls have mccain and obama in the margin of blunders. yet another undesirable element for obama is the congress 9% approval. I actual have made an counseled decision and sense like mccain wil be the extra appropriate determination of the two. obama lacks what we want in a president.

I don't have the exact figures but I know that the percentage of people who like him personally is higher than the percentage who think he's doing a good job. That's between 35 and 40%

Nobody really knows! The liberals think that it is a very small percentage along with the liberal media. The conservatives think that it is underestimated by the liberals. The polls are not always accurate. It is anybody's best guess.

As a person I believe he is well liked. I understand he is one very nice person. As a President he isn't very well liked or respected. Of course he has made the USA a hated country in the world.

I can't say for sure. All I can say is that I like President George W. Bush.
And you can't always believe what the polls say....the exit polls in 2004 had Kerry winning.
