I cried wile watching the News. Like you said, never the met the man. Only know him from TV but he was such a peaceful and loving soul. He not only educated us on animals but he taught us how to live life, love, laugh and enjoy. I still teary eyed when I see it on the news or when I think about him. I'm sure many thought that one day he'd get it from a croc but a stringray.

It is very sad that he died so young with so much to live for and much more of his good work to do, he was a great guy even if a little bit crazy with all those scary animals he touched, the world will be a sadder place without him.

Very, I have never personally met him but he was an awesome character.
A very entertaining man that lived for the wildlife of our planet, Steve always said he would die doing exactly what he loved doing.
I wish all his family well and hope people treat this question with the respect it deserves!

It is really sad, i woke up really early that mon mornin and couldnt believe it. Its probably b`coz of all the kinda stunts hes pulled and amazing unbelievable things he done that every1 thought he was invincable. He was a great guy and it hits ppl because it reminds us that life can b taken away in a split second....no matter who u are.
I really feel for his family right now, especially his wife and 2children.

If I knew him personally, I would be sad. I'm sad for him, but not sad about losing him.
I am however sad for this wife and children. I'm sad for them because I know that somewhere in this world, there are two children that lost their daddy. And, a wife that lost her husband.
However, people die all the time, it's part of the plan. We're born, we live and we die. Just another life lost in the billions that have died and have yet to die.

Very Sad...His show was a regular within my household. My family and I loved his accent, loved the animals/reptiles he had on the show. What really puzzled me was that, no matter where he was shooting his show, he always had on shorts. I think I never seen him in pants.

Well... because he was not someone I knew personally it probably didn't move me as much as you, but it did surprise me that he had been killed. He seemed like a pretty decent fellow, and its always a loss to the world when somebody like that gets killed or passes away.
