I got married by a justice of the peace on polk county. You just have to go to the courthouse to the marriage license division and apply for a marriage license then 3 days after that you go back and they will marry you there. It only cost me and my husband about 100 dollars if that much. It is really easy. And very inexpensive. Both of you have to go to apply for the marriage license. Good luck.

I don't know what part of Florida you are from, but I was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Fl, and you could go down town to the court house, and pay $100.00 to get married. Good Luck.

Just go to the courthouse...you have to purchase a marriage license and visit the judge and set a date...no big deal!
Courthouse weddings are a great way to save money and spend it on your honey in private! God bless you two!

call your local county court house the magistrate court division and ask them. They aren't called justices of the peace anymore they are magistrate court judges or any judge can perform it for you but they are the most likely

I know for sure a public notary can perform weddings in Fla. as long as it isnt family. Never had to check on who else can here.
