i joined the lacross team at school and apparently they're all druggies, but they are sooo nice. i don't do drugs and i don't want to but i know they will eventually offer. i still wnat to be their friend, but i feel out of the clique because i don't smoke/drink =/

If they off you drugs, you say no, and they still remain your friends, then good on them. If they don't want to be your friends, you're better off without them. No matter how nice people may seem it's not worth getting into something you don't want to just to impress them. Unfortunately it's something that people seem to learn too little too late in life.

Look out for yourself number one. Don't do them if they offer. It can really mess with your brain and mess your future up. It is not worth it because you are a better person for not doing them, not matter what anyone or what they say. If they don't want to be your friend after you tell them no, that is there loss. Tell them that you respect your body and are not interested in trying drugs no matter what the drug is.

I want to first say what are smart girl you are! Your parents did a wonderful job. It goes back to the old saying "just say no" it will work and they will respect you for it. Easier said than done I know but trust me I'm 31 years old and would have loved that kinda advice when I was your age. You'll be fine respect yourself and others will respect you!

If they give you the feeling that you will only stay their friend, they are not true friends. True friends accept you if you say no. Don't let them pressure you. Friendship is not about what you take, it is about trust and.. friendship. Being there for each other.
Don't do anything you dont want to.

if its more important to u to be part of the 'clique' than to be drug free and not a loser like them then go for it. it doesnt matter if peeps are nice, if they do drugs they are losers. u dont want to be part of a group just because other peeps think they are cool

let me tell you this i made the mistake of trying drugs! over the years Ive spent a couple of hundred thousand dollars on cocaine n other drugs dont be stupid you can hang with them and be drug free! its kinda hard but it can be done. but if your smart you'll realize you dont need to temp fate by hanging around with people like that! they usually turn out to be fair weather friend anyway!!

Dont do the drugs stay drugfree its a lot less trouble. If you just say you rather not have any drugs, or just no thanks. Really they wont make you try it, and will still be friends with you if they are nice

Don't compromise yoru standards for them, no matter what. Usually if you tell them you don't want to do it they'll unerstand, the will probably only get mad if you preach to them about why it's bad or get mad at them for doing it. Otherwise, I don;t see why you still can;t be friends with them.

if they are really nice people they wouldnt make you do anything you dont want. they might offer since you are around them but with a no they will understand and if not just leave

you can still be friends with people even if they do drugs 'n stuff. just make sure you don't do them yourself. if they don't respect that then they're not true friends. true friends will repsect your decision whether its the same or its against yours.
