You have to go through this pouting about what you want yet will never get in order to develop mature, adult compassion.

This is the pain of growing wisdom on your part. You're doing fine.

Hey man, my motto is it's "Never over till it's over!"; I'm 50 and have gone through some "dry spells", but as long as you get focused, apply yourself, accept and change your "negatives" and accentuate the "positive", you can go as far as you want! What do you like? Computer? Playing games? do you think you can create new games? How about web sites? Do some annoy you and make you want to say "I can do better then that!"; Apply to a local college and get a part time job; turn your hobbies into the career of your choice; Hook up with some smart, fun people and change for the better...never too late!

If you except defeat , that is what you will get . Change your outlook and change your attitude and amazing things will happen to you . What the mind can conceive and believe , it can achieve .
If you want to achieve something in life-make a list of goals and work on ways to achieve them .Anything worthwhile is worth the effort . Don't expect instant miracles . Keep at it . Never settle for anything less than your dreams . There's an old saying , "If at first you don't succeed , try , try again". Mistakes are part of the process. What if Alexander Graham Bell decided to give up when he had a bad day ?Henry Ford ?The key is to keep on keeping on . Get rid of your woe-is-me attitudes about yourself. Don't expect to be perfect . Nobody is . So what if things didn't work out in the past . Who says you must be satisfied to settle for failure , or anything less than your dreams ? Try harder from now on . You're worth it ; and don't be a quitter . Never give up.

No one gets everything they want out of life. And being sad about it is something you need to deal with.
For every action you will make, there will be a choice. You can't look back. Make the most of the choices you do make and you will have a very fulfilled life.

Heck, you are only 25. Try college or something that will get you a good job. Join a volunteer group. There is lots to do in life.

I totally understand. I feel like that sometimes too. All I can say is, if you ever get the chance to do some of the other things that you dream of doing, go for it. Good luck!
