Hi --
Outside of enty clerk level type positions, I would not call it that great. But, I would recommend looking into the call centers in the area....Verizon, Carnival Cruise Line, California Casualty,...as they will provide training! and the pay isn't too bad.
Carnival has a 5 week training and usually within a couple months you could have the opportunity to get into the consultant side where I know people doing quite well there.
