While I agree with Maxx Power above, I would conclude answer "C" among the choices provided.
A is unrealistic if you do not like reading
B only furthers your dislike for reading
D. is totally senseless--and maybe expensive
C is realistic. It encourages the daily practice of reading, which is most likely to improve your reading ability, and it offers the most flexibility as to what you can read.

A. reading a new book every day or even every week will help increase your reading ability. Don't force yourself into reading something you don't like. If you do, then you won't remember anything you've read because you didn't like the book. Joining a book club might not be a bad idea. In fact, it can also encourage you to read and keep you on track of your readings.

Logically the answer to the question would have to be C. My comment would be that whoever wrote the question needs to learn more about the best way to increase reading - 5 new pages every night might not be it. Of course we are seeing the question in isolation, and do not know what went before, what came afterwards, your status in terms of understanding English, and so on.

I suggest E: Read everything! Adverts, papers, labels on tins, car registrations. The more you read whilst going about your daily business, the more inclined you'll be to read up on other subjects.

D, if you restrict us to these answers. Similar to D, my advice would be to follow up on whatever piques your interest, even if only temporarily and about a non-literary subject, such as a biography of a pro athlete.
