The only one that is okay is Jolene - only b/c it is different and somewhat uncommon. The others I don't care for at all. By the way, who are these names for? If a new baby - Congrats!

Frankly, why not name your child something a little different, perhaps a traditional African name? There are sites that will allow you to look for names by nation of origin (babynames.com), and then your child will not only have a somewhat unique name, but also one that would allow them to succeed in a white-dominated corporate work force should she desire it. Naming your child something that makes her seem like just another ghetto raised child will only close doors for her. I don't mean to sound racist, but a multi-syllable, ghetto sounding and traditionally low-income black name is not the best thing to give a child. I apologize if you found my post offensive.
