My favorites are StarCraft, Master of Orion II, Diablo II, Age of Empires II, Heroes of Might and Magic III and the Halo games. It really depends what you're into; Master of Orion II and Heroes of Might and Magic III are more strategy games, while Diablo II and Halo have more action, and StarCraft and Age of Empires II are sort of inbetween.
