Benidorm's Best Festival?
Probably the best festival in the world is taking place at La Nucia on the weekend of 3rd, 4th and 5th of June. The inaugural First Festival of Beer will be taking place in a special marquee at the Camilo Cano sports centre where visitors will be able to sample the world, culture, origin, tradition and manufacture of beer from many different countries.
And as if this state of bliss wasn't enough the organisers are also throwing in some top class entertainment from the Country, Blues and Rock'n'Roll music fields. Amongst the artists already confirmed to appear are the Vargas Blues Band, Red House, The Big Jamboree and J. Teixi band.
The organisers are expecting about 3000 people to turn up, the majority of whom they think will be foreigners as about 50% of the population of La Nucia is comprised of northern Europeans
