My sister and I were just talking about the fact that every few months or so our cycles seem to come earlier. I mentioned to her that I thought the moon might have something to do with it. What do you think? What really causes your cycle dates to change?

It's because your cycle comes every 28 eight days, not 31. After a few months, the date you get your period would be about a week earlier in the month.

Not all women have a cycle of the 'standard' 28 days. (The moon's cycle isn't exactly 28 days, either.) Some go as long as 35 days between. So it can't be the moon that causes when a woman gets her period.
