You need something to cheer you up -But did you ever notice that when you are depressed you notice every sad dong there is? A lot of people write more when they are sad, I guess! There are so many great songs out there!
Here's a good one for you -
The Proclaimers are two Irish brothers, few people know about. They were "discovered" on the Benny and June sound track and again on the shrek sound track!
The song I am thinking of is called "I'm on my way!" and it starts out ... " I'm on my way, from misery to happiness today!" it's peppy and perky and I think it will do the trick!

depression is a serious condition, people should not just toss it around like it means nothing, i'm sorry if you really are depressed but if not - just say something like sad or down or blue - its less dramatic!!
the music - Staind, and Smile Empty Soul are sad-ish and stuff like Chevelle and Ill Nino are more angry, so i'd personally go with all of them!

anything Green Day! every time i'm depressed (which is like all the time) i listen to Green Day.. i'm completly obsessed! and Slayer.. and My Chemical romance.. and Marylin Manson! lol.. aything hardcore rock... or punk.. anything that'll piss you off instead of making you even more sad.. but thats just me talkin
