I need some reasons why bullets are more effective, such as cost and time to load them in.. All help is appreciated.

Because a tranquilized animal will wake up, maybe when you are cooking it. That is not productive!!

It depends on what effect your going for, stopping with or without injury,

Bullets can and will effectively stop an animal,

tranquilizers might if given the proper drug and dosage and in the right spot

Bullets are cheaper, you dont have to have a special gun, you dont have to fill the dart, you dont have to figure the amount or type of drug to use for whatever animal you going after.

If a wild animal is loose in a neighborhood it is better to traquilize the animal and release it to a wildlife preserve than to just kill it. If the animal is directly threatening someone's life and there is no time to call animal control there may be no other choice than to kill it though. Human life before the life of the animal!

I don't like the sound of either. They both cause the poor animal extreme pain.

You're comparing apples and oranges.

Hunters aren't going to use tranquilizers.
Animal caretakers aren't going to use bullets.

It's a nonsensical comparison.
