I love the creativeness. It's a great stress reliever. When I get a work project done and have time (sometimes it is a few months before I can play) I really have a blast with the game! :)
I like to create weird scenarios and experiment with abductions and the genetics of strange sims who take over the neighborhood. One of my current games is a village where a goth woman marries sim after sim and murders each of them and has a child by each. Her goal is to never work a single day in her life, and to choose the richest guys to marry. Her children of course, grow up to be 'black widows' and as long as I'm not tired of the craziness, they spread into the village and take the curse with them. :)
One of her kids is ready to go to University now, and when she's there, she will train to get more powers. She'll bring back some of the sims that were killed from the dead, and they will be zombies.
I love building weird houses too. Put down a tree and build a house on top of it, with an invisible 'elevator to get to the top. The more you learn about the game, the more crazy things you can try. :)
I'm a scientist type in real life, but a Mad Scientist when it comes to the Sims 2 };>

EVERYTHING!!!! I AM SO ADDICTED
The Sims 2 is a strategic life simulation computer game developed by Maxis and published by Electronic Arts. It is the sequel to the best-selling PC game in history, The Sims. Originally released September 17, 2004 (selling a record 1 million copies in its first 10 days), The Sims 2 is available for both PC and Mac OS X, with versions also available for several game consoles. There are currently three expansion packs and three stuff packs, with an additional one of each announced for release by the end of 2006.
Unlike other computer games, The Sims 2 does not have a defined objective. Players are essentially given limitless possibilities, guiding simulated characters, called Sims, through their daily lives and activities in an open-ended manner. While The Sims 2 has no set goals, there is a new level of strategy involved in balancing a Sim's life, as players now have a limited time in which to fulfill aspirations, meet needs, progress in a career, socialize and possibly have a family with the introduction of aging to the series.

Sims 2: University
The Sims 2: Nightlife
The Sims 2: Open for Business
The Sims 2: Pets
Stuff Packs
The Sims 2: Holiday Party Pack
The Sims 2: Family Fun Stuff

It teaches you time management (Sims time runs by so much faster!), priorities (working on skills, keeping in touch with friends/family), coordination (you have to multitask)!! It helps you be creative (Sims are much more personalized now, you can design houses) You can make your Sim happy or sad; you're basically his/her "god." The control you have is what people love the most. You can control their lives. This is something we cannot completely do for our own. :)
