REDS ARE 4TH IN THE WILD CARD RACE 3.5 GAMES OUT. AND 5.5 OUT OF CENTRAL. THEY GOT TO GET VERY HOT SOON OF IT GOING TO BE OVER FOR THEN SOON!!!!!!:-)

I'm a Reds fan...but there's no way that this team wins the wild card. There are too many better teams with similar/better records in the hunt. If they could somehow win 65-70% of their games the rest of the way, they'd be in, but the team's not good enough to do that, and the trade they made with the Nationals damaged their offense to the point where it can't bail them out anymore when their pitching fails. On top of that, Junior just got hurt--looks minor, but when he goes down it's always for longer than it should be at this stage of his career.
They were supposed to be a fifth or sixth place team this year--I'm just happy they overachieved to this degree.

I am a die-hard Reds fan, but after that disaster on the West Coast, I do not think so now. The Padres, Phillies, Marlins and Giants would have to completely collapse for that to happen. I pray everyday that something good can happen. We Reds fans have waited too long for a season like they have had this year. If they don't make it and are at least slightly above .500, then I will try to be satisfied.
