No, but I have put them on the intake of central air unit. If you use liquid fabric softener you can put it in a spray bottle with water and make your own febreez.

I haven't but that sounds like a good idea. I usually use Febreeze, it's the best room freshener that I have found.

No but we have a swamp cooler and we sometimes pour fabric softener to make it smell better. Works like a charm.

no, but i have put them in the air ducts that way everytime the air or heat comes on it circulates throughout the house
