west virginia workers comp sent me a letter saying my claim to reopen was denied because there is a "potential for settlement of any and/or all issues in this claim" and that a "final settlement that is fair and reasonable to all parties may be negotiated" what does all this mean??? i'm in constant pain and can't walk I need medical help soon!!

You might consider hiring an attorney who specializes in workers comp cases. You should have the right to appeal the decision.

Do you know if your employer has offer any settlement and, if so, what that settlement consists of? Are you still employed with them?

If you're in constant pain, and don't have medical insurance, you might try having someone take you to the nearest emergency room which accepts indigent patients.

I don't know all the details of your situation but its been my experience with workers compensation that they almost always initially deny claims. So don't give up!
