My Wiskas is the same way.. I had to get a food bowl with a timer. It opens only for a few minutes a day, long enough for her to eat then. If she misses it she'll have to wait till it opens again next time. It sounds cruel I know, but it teaches her to not just sit by her bowl. I know she eats when she's not hungry so it helps. You may also want to cover her bowl or simply not have food out all the time. My cat weighed 22 lbs when my sister brought her, she's now at 30lbs. That's not healthy, although she looks so cuddly and cute.

I have the same problem I have 3 cats. One is at a healthy weight, one is in between.. and Merlin, by Orange kittie.. is a big fatty. I do not feed my cats that much, but Merlin is still fat, and gains weight. I think it has to do with metabolism, and the fact that they are strictly indoor cats. I either need a bigger house, or more things for them to climb and play with.. probably both. If you are really worried about her weight, take her to a vet,.. that is what i am thinking about doing.

She isn't the one filling the food dish - you are in control of the situation - if you don't want a fat cat, then you know what to do.
Among other things, fat cats develop diabetes - not good!
P.S. Since you know your cat does not understand English, maybe you should try talking to her in Vietnamese ( it wasn't so very long ago that you were Vien Chong)

I gave my cat Purina Indoor formula (green bag) and he lost a little weight and looks great! He likes the flavor, is more active and plays like a kitten.

It is not the intake of food, but the physical exertion and calories that the animal uses on a daily basis.

No, she's a cat. Even if she did understand, she doesn't care what you have to say.

It's your fault that she's fat. Stop feeding her all the time.
