Good answer Do Think. I thought this was a dumb question till I saw that answer. I think I'd go a step further and say maybe the baby. It depends whether you define a foetus as a baby, and on whether you can be the parent before the child is born.

Otherwise I guess they do both come into existence at birth.

Welcome to level two. And spread the love - give the best answer to someone who's getting close.

Depends on where they're going. The baby can get on the floor faster than the parents, while the parents can get to the next room faster than the baby. =D

But if you're asking which came to exist first, I'd say the parents (Adam and Eve). They were also the first to raise a little Cain. lol

A baby is the same thing as a parent. They were created at the same time. A parent can not be a parent until the baby is born.
Wow! I came to that conclusion as I was typing it.

I am working on level two. I can't answer. I do, however, have an outstanding memory. I remember so far back that I went to a party with my dad and came home with my mother.

Its not a question of who comes first its cyclical you could start with the baby and then the parents or the parents and then the baby

As life is circular and we all return to the matter from whence we came, and each life is a reincarnation of an earlier life, in answering this question we have to take the spiritual enlightenment of each invidiual into account.

The answer is...depends who gets the most excited.
