You have the choice to either let this bother you or to know that already you are better than these people. Obviously they are the ones with issues about something they are completey ignorant about. It's them who are insecure because their need to show off is the only way they feel superior in front of others. Ignore them and when they do say things that seem offensive, just smile at them and say, " I hope your day gets better" 'cause it's obvious they're miserable.

Well, for one, I'm sure those "minorities" love being referred to that about as much as you like being called a pusse' (hehe).
As far as the client, how did he know? Are you just flaming? If he could tell, they probably already knew. I mean..come on.
You might be gay, but your still a man, so act like one. If they weren't f'ing with you for being gay they'd be f'ing with you for something else. Hell...I've been called a f a g and I'm not even gay.
Personally, I don't understand a lot of gay guys. Especially the ones who act like women. I know a gay guy who acts like a man. Not "butch". Just, a normal professional type male. Of course, I knew he was gay the first time I met him. No straight guy wears designer dress shoes casually like that. If you were to make fun of him or whatever, it really wouldn't bother him. You'd look like the *******.
So maybe, that's how you need to be. I know people that call me wigger. In fact, one of my aunts used to called me a wigger. She thought it was so funny. I don't get mad and pissed. Well...sometimes. Anyway, point being, f' em. Why get all hurt because someone makes fun of me for the type of music I listen to or the way that I dress or act. That's who I am. It just lets me know, were I black, they'd be calling me something else.
You know the funny thing about all this? I'm catholic. I believe homosexuality is a sin. However, I still say live your life. Be who you think you are. If you're certain that's who you are meant to be than f anybody who questions that. It's their own insecurity. If your not certain, than figure out why not.

What prompted all this. Are you Gay? Listen start with living for the Lord Jesus and serve God, Start a prayer life with him. Pray for those who persecute you. God will make all this stop and judgment will come to those who hurt you. Be yourself and don't worry about others.

Look them in the eye, with your head held up, smile and say "How perceptive of you". and then go on about your business.

I don't think there is much that you can do other than just blow it off and tell those people "Whatever you wanna think." Unfortunately, most people are ***holes enough that it doesn't particularly matter...
