For me it ensures survival. However, if we were given the chance to live without it, I mean, if everything was made and given to us without any of our help or effort needed, would you still like to learn, and why?

Knowledge is almost everything we do.
Knowledge comes from our brains, we wouldn't no a clue without knowledge. Knowledge isn't just studying etc etc. Knowledge can be simple things as walking or touching something. it's something you know! Knowledge consists of so many thing. Whether common sense, SPEECH, communication, etc. No language, no writing, how will we live. No ideas...EEK! Not knowing how to behave, not knowing how things work, not having curiosity..etc. Curiosity and knowledge are so closely related....
Without knowledge, the animals will be at the top, not humans! If humans have everything but don't have knowledge, they wouldn't be able to doing anything. No knowledge, equals many parts of the brain not in use...We would be almost in a state of coma without knowledge.
And if we have help without knowledge, there'll be no need for learning, because we can't learn anyways if we don't have knowlege.

Knowledge is what creates consciousness. To be given the chance to live without it is, in a way, a chance to become a robot. You would act without thinking at all. That is, if you were still able to act with out thinking. Either way it would transform me completely. I couldn't say whether I'd take advantage of not needing to know things, because I'd be a different person.
I'm not sure If I answered your question directly, it's a complicated concept.

Tactics to overcome a situation. A knowledge when applied into life, it becomes wisdom. Knowledge become creative there. As you said it is a matter of survival.

Without the need for knowledge (wisdom), there is no growth to mind. There is no creative thoughts. We all will be just like a still photograph.

To me knowledge is information in my mind. Like you it means survival for me, but even if I did not need knowledge for survival I would continue to learn, because I enjoy learning. OK, not always and depending on the subject.

Konwelge is the key to surviving in this crazy world. A world where we didn't need it would be the ideal world, but learning new things everyday is what makes life seem so interesting. if everything was just givin to us without any effort, life would be boring.

common sense ensures survival not much knowledge needed there its hereditory.

i love to know how everythings works; the universe, life and is there a god these things are mindboggling to me just as much as when my kid messes her nappy after i change it.

if everything was handed to me on a plate i would be bored to dead so gathering more knowledge would be a good option to stay sane.

that saying 'knowledge is power' its rubbish in todays world its more like 'power is knowledge' may it be wrong or right thats the way it seems to me.

you would still be learning though; you would learn that you didn't have to do anything and you would still get everything you needed, you could then decide you want more than was given to you, and you would have to think about how to get it?
