Ignore it. This a variant on the 'Nigerian scam' that's been going the rounds for some years. If you co-operate with this 'lawyer' you'll end up having your bank account drained. Stay well clear - and if you feel like it, forward the email to the police.

Similar scams originate from Africa. America does not have Barristers. Be very careful if the standard of English is poor. Never ever send any money, you'll never see it again.

dont even answer the email, this lets the scammer know that your email address is valid and then you'll end up getting sent all sorts of spam.
never believe these things, they're ALWAYS scams.

We don't call lawyers in America barristers. We call them lawyers, so that would be the biggest clue that it is a total scam.

Delete the email. Don't try and contact them, even to tell them to piss off, because you'll just be verifying your email address and you'll be flooded with spam.
