You sound like a bright person. Many students do not plan ahead as far as you. It is wonderful you have your sights set on where you want to be in two years, that puts you half way there. I think that you should focus on College Algebra (in 11th grade) and then AP Statistics (in 12th grade). Intermediate algebra is going to be a requirement at any school you attend and statistics will help you greatly in business. General Chemistry, hands down over A&P. You will need to be strong in both, but I felt that general chem. was a more difficult subject. It would be nice to get a leg-up on that one. Good luck, and study your *** off!

Statistics, definitely. The college algebra will help get an annoying requirement out of the way. Plenty of time to take trig and calculus in college, because you have to take them again. And chemistry, as you will take a lot of those for pharmacy (in fact, your major will be chemistry or biochemistry, if you want to be in pharmacy.) Business majors require statistics and calculus, more than one of each.

Both statistics and calculus are seen in pharmacy. Also, chemistry, and anatomy and physiology are both important sciences for pharmacy.
I would take AP Statistics to get the credit. Chemistry is probably more important to take.

I don't think you'll have a problem in high school. High schools require that you take P.E. in high school, but it's usually only a semester or two. As a new student, they won't really look at things like what classes you took.

I would say that Alg. III (College Alg.) and AP Stat. would be more vital (I know that Stat. often involves some areas of psychology, so maybe it extends to other regions in the medical field) and A&P for your science course b/c you learn about the human body and it's processes in that class. That's what I would suggest anyway.

I would check out college credits and take what ever it requires to get into pharmacy. I would take any college credits you can they are free in High school.

Check with the colleges of your choice to find out what the requiremnts are for the major you want. This info is usually on their web sites. Your school counselor should be able to help you with this but you may have to do it yourself. Good luck.
