Most likely they've already seen it....I'm sure they knew they'd stumble across it online or on some tv show, so they probably decided to do a pre-emtive strike and get it over with. That's what i would do, anwyay.

hey aubrey,
I'm from australia.
As far as i know.. Terri saw his body for the last time on wednesday, Joe Stainton his manager viewed the tape, to confirm it was Steve Irwin, I don't think Terri would have viewed the tape yet, But the media doesn't know what goes on behind closed doors,
Joe Stainton and Steves father & family have said that [ the tape won't see the light of day] & that it will be destroyed!
Which i think is a good thing, It's sad the extremes people have to go, to protect their loved ones, What i hate the most is the fact that the he didn't get too much critcism when he was alive, and now he is dead the media is making a joke out of the whole baby bob thing, I dont know if you live in america, but we watch the 5.00am american show with Matt Lauer on it, He replayed an interview, after the days of steves passing, and it seemed to me their reports on his death were very biast, Basically saying if you play with fir you get burnt..
Steve will be buried in the Australia Zoo.. His private funeral will be conducted in the next 5 days, and a memorial will be arranged within these 2 weeks at a large stadium so people can grieve for him..
God bless you xx

Good question, my honest op ion is that I hope and pray that they don't have to watch it, and that it will be destroyed like they said, but if it does get out I hope that the family sues who ever gets it out there and contributes the money they win from it to the Zoo just for Steve!! My prayers go out to Steve's family, Friends, and Fans across the world!!!!

Actually, the video is being destroyed by Steve's friend who took the video. They care too much about him to let it get out on the internet!

Hopefully they will have the good sense to ignore it. On the other hand, sometimes diving headfirst into the details helps the grieving process. I mean even if they never watch it they will always have a mental image, I do and I have never even met the guy!

That would be just too heart breaking to watch. I have 2 daughters and if I had to watch on film the deaths of them, I would die.

I would hope they'd never have to see that if they didn't want to. I know I couldn't watch someone I loved, die. The poor kids need never see that.

I think they saw this coming a while ago given the nature of his business of dealing with dangerous animals. They probably can view it with less shock than if this happened to an ordinary person.
