Casting a circle is not a spell at all. What you are essentially doing is created sacred space to do the spell in. Because there are so many ways to cast a circle I am going to recommend two books that are really good at giving a variety of circle castings. Wicca: A guide for the solitary practitioner by Scott Cunningham and To Stir a Magick Cauldron: A Witch's Guide to Casting and Conjuring by Silver Ravenwolf.

I personally don't like Ravenwolf's books but I found that this book was very good at giving you ideas on who to call, how to call, and what to say. She does not spell it out to you...ie say this, do that. She gives and example and encourages you to make one yourself. Cunningham's books actually gives you the castings, chants, etc. that he used in his workings.

Remember there is no right or wrong to cast a circle. As long as your intent is there you will do fine.
