When testing for cholesterol they test for cholesterol only. If they want to test for other things such as "Weed" then they will have to do a specific test.
The easiest way to avoid testing positive for weed in a blood test is not to touch the damn stuff anyway.

It wont show up if the specific test for it is not run. Which it wont be if it is a routine blood test. Drug panels are not on the routine list.

I was talking with my husband about his q. and he said yes it will show up. Dont worry unless it may effect your job. He knows this because he use to smoke it.
