Good question because can be a mare particularly for net curtains. But you say curtain poles, which are normally fixed onto wall above window reveal. We need more specific details.

If you are mounting right to the pvc frame just screw right to the pvc . Best to use cutter screws and carefull not to over tighten

DON`T!!!! They will never stay. You will also stand the chance of damaging operational components inside the stiles of the window, not to mention voiding any possible warranty. Hang them above the window.

DONT.
Attach them to the solid walls above the PVC.
Do not drill or screw anything into the plastic.
