from what i have read, this made for tv movie has horrible schmaltzy acting, blunders almost all facts about 9-11, and if it even airs, will be a miserable flop. i'm gunna watch a few minutes just to see just how stupid it actually is. but i'm in the middle of Robert Pape's book so time is kinda precious.

has hollywood become completely void of all intellectual faculty? how many viewers do you think will actually know just how ridiculous this movie is?

I'm not sure if I blame Hollywood for the 'dumbing down' of feature films or if I blame the American Public for being so dumb that movie studios believe that films that appeal to a sophisticated audience will not make money in this country. The current line-up of fall TV shows runs the whole gamut from totally retarded reality TV to sharp, witty, cool shows like 'Nip-Tuck' and 'The Closer' to the really strange stuff like 'The Lost'.
Until Americans quit spending their money on films like "Talladega Nights: The Legend of Ricky Bobby" (over $140 Million) and "Larry the Cable Guy shows his butt crack (again)" (over $15 Million) Don't expect the big Hollywood Studios to pander to anything more intellectual than those two gems.

Path to 9/11 just aired here in Australia. It had a bit of street cred with Harvey in it and everything was going peachey.

Then all this Clinton bashing came in. It seems highly dubious that Clinton's Monica thing was the cause of Osama getting away as the Movie implies. But even if it was the cause. We need to remember that the whole Monica thing was a Neo Con/Republican sponsored witch hunt.

The more of this Neo Conservative propaganda I see the more afraid I am for all our futures. Are we that far away from the world portrayed in George Orwell's 1984?

I think you're right. I prefer the intellectually stimulating films from Tulsa.

If you don't like what Hollywood puts out there to "fill the void" either create something better, or blame it on one of two things:

A) It's what the audience keeps buying/watching.
B) Capitalism over all else. (I seem to think of this as a Republican value.)

The only reason why it's getting so much attention is because it makes the Clinton Administration and his hacks look like shizt. If it was making Bush look bad....everyone including you would be singing it's praises. Just admit the truth for once....

Because it won't mention a conspiracy? You'll end up watching the whole thing.
