I was at work today early and still hungover. It was nearly the end of the day , about 11a.m. I went into the yard to lock up the remaining lorries. Whilst walking and texting a happy birthday to a mate the next few seconds were a complete shock.

I had stepped onto a plastic strap which is used to tighten up boxes and it somehow managed to wrap itself around my legs. I realised i had no movement so i jumped with one leg causing me to fly forward onto my face.

Luckily my hands made it first not my elbows or knees. If i didnt put my hands out i would of been laying in a hospital bed. My mobile went sliding down the road, a large thud and when i opened my eyes i saw the clouds. My hands still burn ; (

You?

The one and only serious fall I have had was only just 3 months ago,I live in Spain and the pavements here are total crap, all tiled and none slip, I was out with my 17 year old daughter, who wanted to look in a clothes shop we had just passed, so we started to turn back to go and look, when my right leg just went underneath me, the pavement we were on sloped downwards a lot and were very slippy so as I tried to move, my right leg just slipped to the side and under my left leg, I went crashing down onto my right arm and elbow, I was in a right old state, even now my right arm is very weak, I can not hold anything that has the slightest of weight, and I can honestly say, my ego was hurting 100%, I felt like a right prize twit, but I was hurting badly, my leg was black instantly and cut pouring with bloody, I can tell you I have never been back to that shop since and never will do either, as the shop assistance never came out to see if I were alright and she saw everything that happened and it happened right outside the shop door, when I finally got up, I said to her I'm fine thanx, thanx for asking, and waddled off to my car, oh yes, and my bloody shoe broke, I had to borrow my daughters shoes to drive home in. How's that? I hope yourecover after ur nasty fall.

I fell over today. I stayed at a friends after beer and curry last night. There was a bunch of people there this morning and I was wearing flip flops... footwear which I am completely unable to walk in.

I got my feet caught up and I fell on the couch cushions I'd been sleeping on. Unfortunately I maintained eye contact with the audience at the time and they thought I was showing of and trying to attract attention.... really the eye contact was just a cry for "HELP.... I'm about to damage my face".

No sympathy.

Rubbish

I was in Morocco in a restaurant and they had a small overhanging step my toe caught under the step which pulled my artificial leg off. I fell forward but being akido trained I used my hands to break fall. I tend to wear my watch on the inside of my wrist and I smashed the glass on my gold watch. I did not realise I had also lost the bevel so when I came to get it repaired I had to get it put in a new gold case and it cost £160

I trip on the pavement just about everyday in Covent Garden on the wobbly stones. But I actually fell out of bed a few weeks ago when I was dreaming of hopping over Hadrian's Wall. What the heck was THAT about???

On night I went to a bar after work.. I had two beers. for real just two beers. Not drunk.. I went to leave. I got on my Harley and rode off. I was coming up on a red light and I stopped.. Well I was so tired that I didn't think off putting my feet down when I stopped and fell sideways. Hit the pavement and busted my forehead open..

Such a story! Excellent! Reminds me of the time I dropped a 32 inch wide screen TV on my foot by accident. That was a serious incident that could have resulted in the amputation of my toe but for the fact that I was majorly pissed at that time and didn't give a f**ck!!

About a year ago I was walking home from town carrying lots of stuff, I tripped on a kerb scattering stuff everywhere, my keys were about 100m up the road! Seriously it was like a plane crash with debris spread over a massive area!

Probably a couple of weeks ago. I'm always falling over, especially when sober. When I'm drunk, I'm fine!

My daughter did a classic today - she's learning to ride her bike without stabilisers so we've had one or two scrapes (including a full-on hedge dive. LOL) The best, however, was falling off and landing upside down on her face. She was on soft grass so it was cool, she didn't hurt herself but it was hilarious to watch :-)

A year ago I was walking quickly to a meeting in high heels and one heel caught part of my trousers. I tripped fell forward on to my hand/wrist. Cut all my hand and damaged wrist. Had to go to hospital and be tubigripped!

I like heels with my trouser suits!

I was in a nighclub (not THAT drunk, honest!) and some guy was standing with his legs far apart and I was walking past him and tripped over one of his legs! Straight down, superman style, didn't even have my hands out to save me! Ended up with huge bruises on my hip and knees!
