No, because in MOST (98%) women the hCG hormone can not be detected until a week after your first missed period. If you want early test results then your best bet is to get a blood test through your doctor. They are more equipt to sense the lower levels of hCG, whereas in a urine test they need to be higher.
Plus as someone said before 2 weeks into a pregnancy is when you're ovulating, unless you're counting 2 weeks after your missed period which is incorrect. You calculate your weeks from the first day of your last period.

it is best to wait until the time you miss your period give or take a couple of days, but the urine test measures the amount of hCG in your urine. so the higher amounts of hCG in the urine the sooner you can find out when your pregnant. i was only a couple of weeks pregnant when i tested positive, so yes it can be accurate if the results are positive, yet if the test says negative then just wait, time will tell.

I had a positive reading about a week after my last period. if you think you are and the test comes back negative, then wait a few days and try again. Some test now a days can pick it up before you even know that you missed your period.
The home tests can be iffy though. I took one, it was positive. wanted to double check and it was negative, so I bought more....and i went back and forth for about 2 weeks (was out of town so couldn't go to dr) when I finally was able to make an appt with my dr, it came out positive, so then I knew for sure.
Good luck and congrats if you are!

the urine test is NOT always accurate. IF your hcg level is not high enough at 2 weeks you will NOT show positive it all depends on that!

A urine HCG detects HCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) 1-2 days after implantation. Yes, it is accurate for you.

They worked for me when I was about 10 days pregnant, the line was very faint, but it was there, plus I just knew I was pregnant even before I tested,

Yep. When you are pregnant, you are pregnant. Not just a little pregnant. It is full blown pregnancy and you will have a full blown baby. (Or aardvark)
