do you think it could be possible for neurons to multiply or reproduce asexually. how long do they last.

Neurons can not reproduce eventhough there was a case (im not sure where... sorry) were there was a man who had a mutation in some neurons that made them reproduce themselves.. Scientists are investigating his case to see what was the mutation that made these reproduce but a normal non-mutated cell neuron can not reproduce. Please pick me as your best answer!!! Thanx

No neurons do not have the ability to multiply.

neurons cannot multiply but can regenerate if damaged the life span i'm not so sure about but i'll check 4 u......

i dont think nuerons reproduce, but they are produced in the body.

they dont last very long either, they die soon.
