Sounds like an underactive thyroid.
Feel the cold, hair loss, tiredness.
You need to get a blood test from your doctor

It sounds like something that could be realted to your thyroid but it might be depression or something else. Best to write down a list of your symptoms and take it to your doctor as soon as you can-especialley if you are feeling quite depressed.

If you have had this problem for 4 years also, it is definately time to do something about it-as i know in personal experience with a few health problems i have had in the past-its very easy to put these things off- especialley if they only surface every now and again.

Plus it might help if you exercised more often which would lift your sprits and socialised more. Although i realise that this migth be difficult when your feeling a bit low and your unpredictable! :) Talk to your family/friends for support or perhaps consult a counsellor after you have seen your doctor and have some sort of diagnosis.

I hope this helps! Good luck xx

Its very possible, you should make an appointment with your doctor and they will take a blood sample off and have it tested. I had mines checked about a year ago and mines was slightly underactive but not enough to cause any real problems. You should have a feel around at the bottom of your neck you know just below where men have their adams apple, if you can feel a goitre( a little lump) this is your thyroid. Go to your doctors this will put your mind at rest and if you do have a problem you will get the treatment you require. good luck hope this helps.

You show all the signs of an under active thyroid yes , but you should really have it checked out by the doctor and have a blood test done.
Under active thyroidism can sneak up on you over a long period of time before you become aware you actually have a problem.
If this is the case then losing weight can be a nightmare.as you have to find the correct hormonal balance through the use of drugs such as thyroxine which you would be on for your life time.

It sounds like your thyroid is underactive. You need to go to the doctor and get a blood test. You probably need thyroid hormone. I have an underactive thyroid and I am on thyroid hormone.

Sounds like it could be hypothroidism (underactive). You can get it checked with a simple blood test at your doctor. If it is, they will probably just put you on some medicine (Synthroid) and you'll be feeling better in no time! Good luck!

Your thyroid sounds like it is underactive. you need to see your G.P. you'll be prescribed Thyroxin tablets. Don't worry - you'll feel loads better when you start on the medication. Don't suffer any longer, you will feel back to normal once you start taking the tablets.

If you suffer with memory problems and hair loss as well, you have an underactive (low) thyroid problem.
