i bougth this laptop a few days ago and you know that when it reaches a router you can connect to that router and use internet, but, my dad's router is locked, and i lost the paper that had the code to unlock it so is there a way to find the code without those papers lets say trough the computer is connected to?

The password code is not accessable over the network your gonna need the password code It is possible to open the router up and jumper a connection to default the router back to factory settings.

Nope. You need a new router. It is a security tool that only allows you to see the number of characters. Unless you want to do something that is kind of illegal. That would be opening the router/hacking it and then changing up the wires to reset it to default. If you mess up doing that, it could end bad.

if the thing with the jumper don't works, than u have to look for a little battery in there, if u got it, u have to take it off, and wait a few minutes, than put it back, than everythings will be set, as they set in the factory, be careful, the method is unsafe, and u may loose your router

the only way, maybe hacking into the computer...
as far as I know there are no other way to get into, unless you want to ask your dad again... :)

you will see your ip and the mask and then the router ip
