I want some black boots that come just below the knee or above the calf. Any brands that have stretch or would fit a large leg even though the rest of me is not large and my feet are not wide.

lane bryant online or catalog has boots that adjust to your claf size and go up as high as twentysomething inches. Micht also look at wal mart I have seen just the other day microfiber boots that stretch and might fit good luck

I have that same problem. Last year I got 2 pairs of knee high boots at Target, which you might not like the idea of, but I will say, they looked very nice, and fit my calves--I had looked every year with no luck until I found them there. The 1 pair was chocolate suede looking, the other was black leather looking. Both were about $35 each (cheap, I thought) & both had a nice slim heel. I thought they were really nice, and at that price, I didn't care if they gor ruined-I can get a new pair this year if I want...

Ican recommend boots that have a strectchable material or boots that specialize in wider bands

they do semi custom. you chose style, color, feet size and calf size... worth the money if you do like and wear boots
