Does the griffin iTrip work on ipod nanos?

i bought a griffen iTrip from a yard sale and when i got home i tryed it on it didnt fit on, so i looked at the manuel an it had a pic with an iPod photo and an iPod mini and on the pic the holes were ontop of the ipod displayed plz help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry, apple removed the remote plug the iTrip uses. If you're loyal to griffin, buy the new RoadTrip for any iPod with a dock connector, like your Nano!

it only works for the mini.
