Since this is technically a category on Parenting and Pregnancy (as indicated clearly by the category name), Grade-Schooler would be for questions concerning parenting for grade school children. Trying to Conceive, obviously, is for questions and advice for those who are trying to get pregnant. Adolescent, is just a fancy word for Teen and Pre-teen. (Omg, someone had to look it up--BUT, at least they took the time to do so, kudos for that.)
Occasionally, you'll get a real parent on here who has a question about what to do with their own Adolescent and posts a question legitimate to the topic. (I.e. My kid spends all her time on the computer, how can I get her to clean her room or do her English homework instead?)
In the mean time, those of us who are looking for actual parenting questions to answer have to sift through all you teeny-boppers who have carved out this little niche as their own online playpen.

its a parenting board it always has been. trying to conceive meaning they are trying to get pregnant. grade schoolers are kindergarten through 5th grade. its now adolescencebut its not a place for teens its for the parents of teens

adolescent means the same thing as teen and preteen because I thought the same thing as you so I looked up adolescent and it means the same thing
