Yes there is a breed of horse called the Tennessee Walking Horse. They are a gated horse.- In a class of its own! History:
the walker is in the light horse breeds of the equine family is no mystery horse, nor is there anything magic or difficulty in understanding about his makeup. In the beginning came the Narragansett and Candian Pacer. The war between the States occasioned the crossbreeding of the Condfederate Pacers and Union Trotters; thus the Southern Plantation Walking Horse or Tennessee Pacer came into being. Next came the blood of the Thouroughbred, Standardbred, Morgan and American Saddlebred. All were fused into one animal in the middle Tennessee bluegrass region. The result, over countless years, was the "world's greatest show, pleasure and trail horse," - the first breed of horse to bear the state name - The Tennessee Walking Horse. The Tennessee Walking Horse has impressed the nation with its gentle disposition and its kindly manner, and continues to prove itself as one of the most versatile horses in the land. As Gaited horses are breeds that do not usually trot, producing a very comfortable ride that is also easier on the horse. These breeds naturally pass this gait on to their offspring in most cases, while other breeds have the gait introduced to them by the training of man.

Yeah they are in a group called gaited horses. They have to put special shoes on them that are heavy and have weird pad things in them. To make them left there feet up higher them normal. I like horses to look more natural and slow then that. I show hunter jumpers so thats the look for the horses i ride.Walking horses are pretty to watch and I've heard if you are riding them it's really smooth.
