yes they can BUT they have to know exactly where he is working etc etc.............

IF you have all these details then give them to the child support office dealing with you case..............Beware tho often employers take there own sweet time at doing this and IF the order is in place and he is STILL not paying you may well find that he will leave the job and move around to avoid this type of action

I'm assuming you are the one who owes child support. I believe the law can withhold wages. Well, at least I know you can be hauled into jail for not paying child support. I know someone it happened to. And well it should have. When you divorce or leave your partner, that doesn't mean you are no longer the parent of the child. You OWE the child support. You are 50% responsible for the existence of the child. Parents who treat a child as so much disgarded property really make me SICK!

If I read your question right, I dont think so, but am not familiar with laws of your state or where ever you live.
Usually it is only withheld from person responsible for paying for a child they had with another person. best to get real leagal advice instead of on here.

I heard they could, and I think it sucks. I know they can take their taxes, but they can file and injured spouse paper to stop it.
