I finally found someone who I enjoy having sex with. Before him, I never really had too much desire with any other boyfriends and during sex, I usually didn't enjoy it. But with my current boyfriend of about a year and a half, I actually enjoy it, and even initiate it at times...BUT...generally when I don't initiate it, I don't want to do it. I notice with most men...no matter what they are doing, they have time for sex. Woman I have talked to, make it sound like they do to. Am I not normal because if I am trying to sleep, or working on the computer, or cleaning or something, I would rather not be interrupted? Are young unmarried couples really having sex more than once or twice a week, or is it all a bunch of talk?

No I do not think it is uncommon for you not to want to have sex all the time.
The ones telling you get help need the help themselves if they think that all there is to life is sex.

I'm married and it is all a bunch of talk. A week can go by before we have sex. We love each other and sex is not a tool that keeps marriage alive. It's a desire. Pleasurable. And when you get it, it's great. Also the older you get the far in between sex comes. Also if you both work different shifts that gets in the way.

well, I've been married for almost 7 years now and I hate sex. I hate kissing and hugging, I hate touching. When we first got married I wanted sex 4 or 5 times a day, but I think it was just because I wanted to get pregnant. Well, after 3 kids and years of stress and not enough love, I hate even the thought of touching him. I'd rather be hung upside down over hot coals butt naked and burnt to death than have sex.

Well, when my husband and i got married we were pretty active and that was on both our parts, and continue on as we go.I guess it depends on the people and if you have the desire to express yourself in this way. There have been times when i felt like beating my husband off with a stick, but not to often.

I understand how you feel. I feel the same way about sex. me and fiance been together for 5.5 years, I used to not have a problem with our sex life but now its like I don't feel like doing it anymore, like I already prefer watching a movie instead. Sex isnt enjoyable to me anymore. You are not alone.
