Is there any evidence that thought travels in waves? Is there any evidence that thought travels? If not, the 'speed' of thought has no meaning.

The only thing that approaches the concept of "thought waves" as such are the minute electrical discharges which are the result of the electro-chemical operations of the neurons of the brain. These discharges follow the known principles of electrical and chemical physics. Therefore, no, they don't travel faster than the speed of light, and, no the laws of physics don't have to be rewritten...

The electricity in the human brain moves significantly lower than the speed of light. The electrical field this generates is very weak, and presumably travels at or below the speed of light. And as for telepathy, there's no such thing. So no, physics doesn't need a revision.

The human brain can process many thoughts simultaneously into an integrated whole, perceptive consciousness. Therefore, comparing the speed limit of thought to a 'linear' speed of light, is almost meaningless.
